When all-male juries twice were unable to
determine the guilt or innocence of a Flint man charged with being
intoxicated, the judge, defense attorney and prosecutor agreed to pick
Michigan's first all-woman jury. The six women quickly agreed on a
guilty verdict and the man was ordered to pay a $50 fine and spend sixty
days in jail
